Free Pattern Friday: Rabbit Amigurumi

It's Friday again, so here's another free pattern. It's a 6" tall amigurumi of a rabbit for Easter coming up. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.


Materials:
▪  Worsted weight yarn in tan, brown, cream, pink
▪  Crochet thread in black
▪  E hook (3.50 mm)
▪  Stuffing
▪  9 mm safety eyes
▪  Scissors
▪  Tapestry needle

Difficulty: Easy
You should know how to work in the round, increase, decrease, and change colors.

Eye Patch
Starting with brown

1.  ch2, 6 sc in 1st ch  (6)
2.  [inc] around  (12)

F/O, leave long tail for sewing

Starting with tan

Before attaching the safety eyes to the body, push one eye through the center of the eye patch
Stuff and attach safety eyes (I placed mine between rounds 11 and 12 at about 8 sts apart)

2 Inner Ears

Work same as first haunch, DO NOT F/O
4.  sc into one of the sts in the first haunch, [sc] around the first haunch
     sc into the next st in the second haunch, [sc] around the second haunch  (36)

7.  [3 sc, dec] around  (24)
8 – 9.  [sc] around  (24)

Assembly
See pictures above if you need help with placement

▪  Sew the eye patch onto the head
▪  Sew the inner ears onto the ears
▪  Sew the ears onto the top of the head
▪  Take one ear and sew the tip of the ear onto the top of the inner ear
▪  Use pink yarn to embroider a nose onto the head
▪  Use crochet thread to embroider a mouth onto the head
▪  Sew the head onto the top of the body
▪  Sew the feet onto the bottom of the body
▪  Sew the arms on either side of the body
▪  Sew the tail onto the back of the body
