  2. On the beginning of the body, is there no slip stitch to close the circle before you continue to increase the stitches? Does the circle just spiral around, instead of building a larger circle on top of the previous smaller circle? Sorry, I'm a novice! But I really want to try this pattern as it seems fairly easy. I really appreciate it! :)

    1. Correct, you do not slip stitch before increasing, and therefore the piece is worked in a spiral. I hope this helps!

  3. I'm having trouble with the ears. These are worked in rounds? Mine are not looking like ears, lol... Maybe I need rows? Thanx...

  4. Hi there, thanks for the free pattern. I intend to make this as my first project, however being a novice, I have a question:
For your square bracket repeats, eg. "2. [inc] around (12)", how many times should I repeat this increase? Just once? Would like to clarify before I get started.

    Thank you very much!

    1. Increase in every stitch around. You should end up with a total of 12 stitches (so repeat 6 times), which is six more the amount started with. Each increase round increases by six stitches and the parentheses at the end of each line of the pattern shows the total number of stitches for that round. I hope this helps.
