Free Pattern: Koopa Troopa Amigurumi

A 6.5" tall Koopa Troopa amigurumi. You can download the pattern as a PDF on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

This is actually the second version of this pattern. The first one I made around November and it was a bit more derpy-looking.
New on left, old on right

I was going to put the old pattern up, but as I was reading it over I realized it somehow got messed up and the instructions were out of order and incorrect. So instead of trying to fix it I just made a new one altogether. In the old version the head was made from two separate pieces which ended up making an ugly line across the face when sewn together, so now the new head is made in one piece. Plus I added more detail into the shoes and cleaned the face up a little. Also for some reason the stitches on the old Koopa are HUGE. You can see in the picture they're probably about twice the size of the new one's. I think I went through a phase where all my stitches were really loose for some reason, because I know I used the same hook size.

Anyway, onto the pattern:

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn in yellow, red, white, cream, black
 Crochet thread in black
 F hook (3.75 mm)
 Stuffing
▪  Scissors
 Tapestry needle

Difficulty: Easy
You should know how to work in the round, increase, decrease, work in the front and back loops, and change colors.
